I applaud his custom work, but that front end looks pretty ugly IMHO.

Wow I sure you're wrong. That grille is God-awfully fugly

The lights are interesting, not very appealing though IMO

I'd also like to see pics from a distance with the hood closed

yeah, I want to see pics with the hood closed from a little ways back.

Do the lights line up OK with a stock US grill, or do you have to have the cefiro one to make everything line up?

I think the lights themselves might look good with a different grill, but I'd have to see it.

all I can say is why in the world would you weld a piece of metal on a car and not paint it so it doesnt rust. It takes what all of 5 minutes to spray some rustoleum on there.

Oh and I think the lights are ugly. They dont look like they fit any better than the E36s but dont look as good as the E36s.

to each his own.

hmmm, loose hose clamps on the intake tube, your radiator support brackets are upside down, loose wiring everywhere.. and please paint those brackets you welded on there.
otherwise, not a bad job.

I think that they look tight. I think that you did a real good job on the install too. You've prolly also created another headlight craze! lol

here's your pop corn enjoy!

i think the weirdest part about the setup is the grill. looks weird being clear/translucent.

the cefiro that those lights and grill come off are almost as common as our maximas over here, there are some with an RB20DET too, quite quick!

I think they look alright, I like the bimmer lights more but I don't like all the fitment issues involved. I don't see much of a gap with these, and they definitely line up with the lines of the hood well. That grill sucks though!

lol well i just happen to come across this thread about MY 3rd gen with the projectors. Holly **** theres alot of ****in haters on here... =( anyways man i just ****in finished up the 12 hour conversion like 2 days before the meet.. so thats why ive told other people there NOT done, im planning on takin care of gaps and ****.. Thanx if you have complimented on them, they were hard to do, i dont recommend doin them.. as for the grill, i personally dont like it either, but stock grill wont go back in, im tryin to modify it to though so well see what i come up with. That cefiro grill thats on there mounts right to the lights so that made it a bit easier but im not leaving it there, its been beatin by the sun and **** its kinda faded.. but uh thanx for the harsh bashing on me doin somethin OTHER than the ****in e36's jeez, tryin to go for the euro look..

As for the harsh bashing, don't expect everyone to throw compliments out there. When you have pictures out there you're completely open to criticism. Some people will like different things and others won't. I'm personally curious to see how you get over the fitment issues (gaps etc).
