Will a condensor from any 3rd gen fit?

I'm going to attempt to replace my condensor and was going to get one from the local salvage yard. I figure that I can use one from any 3rd gen as long as is it equipped with R-134a which is what my car has. Someone please tell me if this is accurate. Also, any advice for this procedure would be appreciated. Thanks.

Whenever you buy a used part you run the chance of having to do the job twice.

AC system parts are not something you want to buy used. they get contaminated very quickly if the system isn't kept completely sealed- which they never are at a junkyard.
