VE 5spd conversion
#3
ok, I somewhat vaguely recall Jeff92se stating that the manual transmission for the VG and VE are the same. Can anyone verify this? Because I found a 5-spd VG with all the necessary parts in a junkyard.
btw, there was a Z31 turbo with the engine still pretty much intact in the same junkyard.

no, a VG 5spd will not have a limited slip, and has smaller axles. Jeff probably said they were similiar, but not the same.
Keep it all VE

you could use the VG trans but youd also need the axles and hubs from the VG to
if its in a bone yard its proboly cheap and cheap is good but ve 5spd lsd trannys are not cheap which is bad trust me ive been trying to find one for quite awhile im accually contemplating switching over to a vg non lsd system because the trannys are pleatiful in my nearby junk yards and it seems i eat a tranny about every year
