AC Relay Problem? please help

My AC continues to blow hot air out even when the AC is turned off. My best guess so far is that it is the AC relay. I just recieved payment from the guy I sold the car to, so I'm kinda feeling like a crook right now, bad timing on a problem I guess.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

Have you tried charging and checking the pressure in the compressor? More than likely it just needs to be charged. You can get a kit with freon, the pressure gauge and the hoses.

I'm sorry, its not the AC not being cold or anything. The problem is that the blower motor never turns off.

That sucks, so the fan always blows no matter what is on (ac or heat)?

There may have been an old thread on this. You'll probably have to remove the control from the dashboard, and either fix it or get one form the junky.

Sorry my responses are so slow.

Blower Relay? I've been in my Chilton's 100 times, i'm not sure where the blower relay is exactly. I THINK that the blower relay is one of the relays by the fuse panel on the driver side dash, but they aren't labled. I checked all of these relays, and the are visibly in tact. Does anyone know which is the actual blower relay?

The fan blows not only when the AC and Heat are on, but even when the unit is turned off. Could this be a problem with the Climate control unit?

thanks

If I'm reading the FSM correctly the high blower relay is in the passsenger side kick panel.

mine did this for a while and now it turned off but not the only fan that blows is super high. If you have the ACC it's your fan control amp if you have the MAC then it's called the fan resistor
