powder coating rotors

I found a company that powder coats there rotors, do you think those would change the stopping power? Has anyone out there tried these? Thanks

nope, only prevent rust on the parts that do not make contact with the pads.

could also effect their cooling, but I haven't researched that part enough.

It's just pretty.. they only powdercoat the hub, and possibly the outer edge of it where the pads don't contact. that part will flake off very quickly anyway, so it doesn't matter.

It just keeps the hub from rusting and looking ugly.

you don't paint em all?
Had a guy go into one of the local muff shops with his rotors COMPLETELY painted and wouldn't let the shop cut them because he wanted the paint on em (he was getting his car pad slapped)
