Headlights

Well guys, I'm talking to the guys at HIDtech.com and I asked them if they could consider fabbing up a projector with our stock headlights. They said that if they do go along with this project, then they're going to take the glass housing off of the stock ones and replace that part with the GTS clear covers. Then they're going to put a projector in the housing and try to get it to work. I'll keep you guys updated on everything and I'm going to try and get them to make mass quantities of these because I'm sure a lot of people would be interested! So, I'll keep you guys informed and cross your fingers!!

They will need more than just the covers to make it work. They will need some extra plastic pieces and alot of custom fitting/gluing. This work + the projectors + the work for the projectos won't be cheap. I'm gonna guess at least $200-$300 a side? And that's w/o the hid equipment.

I'm cool with new stuff being fabbed for our maxes.
I wouln't be interested in buying since I already put in E36's.

Still hope they come out good!

Sounds like a cool idea, however with some of the e36 conversions I've seen, you could get a pair of e36 e-codes for the price these willwork out to, unless of course they come in uder $200. For much more than that, I'm pretty sure you can get some nice e-codes. Keep us posted though, might be promising.

Yeah, but these headlights will fit perfectly with no gaps and they'll look tight. No more corner light popping out for me!! lol

has anybody just replaced the glass with the GTS plastic? I just want my headlights cleared.
