I wanna go faster

alright heres the deal, last winter the previous owner of my 93 maxima se, slid on the snow into a guardrail, and messed up the frame alignement. he had it fixed for like 1300, and the mechanic said that the car was safe, but do not take it over 75mph. Now i do not know if that was liability reasons cause he did a shotty job or what, but i hvae taken it up to 85mph and still seen nothing wrong, i wanna go FAST, in my maxima, but i dont want to be goin like 120 and the back of my car fall off, whats the deal with why the mechanic said this?

I'd take the car to another shop and just get it looked over. Not so much for the sake of trying to do speed runs, but more because some highways are 75mph and well, thats just sounds dangerous for the mechanic to tell you that.

Id probably try an alignment shop (Merchants) since they are USUALLY very good at troubleshooting suspension problems.

duct tape and bungie cords fix everything for real cheap, usually for about, say 1300 dollars??? Sounds to me like he knows he didnt do it right or did a shotty job and is just trying to cover himself
