Question about Stillen body kit...
#1
I live in a Montreal where the winters are extremely harsh but the summers here are beautiful. I want a Stillen body kit but I would have to be able to remove at least the front lip for the winters so that I don't plow the snow.
Whoever has experience can you tell me how the kit's lip is mounted and/or if it's possible to remove on a seasonal basis?
Also I can't remember who, but someone was selling a used kit and I'd be willing to buy it... Simply email me!
Thanks for looking

It'd be a bother, but.....
its possible. mines is held on with about 6 hexbolts, now of course they can be taken out, but eventually the material you drill the bolts into will wear out and you'll have to drill new holes, so in conclusion I doubt it'll work very well and it won't be an easy task.

you're in luck.. I still have one 3rd gen Stillen bodykit leftover from the group buy in Feb. I also have just the front lip; if you're interested, shoot me a message.
The pieces are mounted with 2-sided tape and rivets. Just leave it on year round.. it shouldn't be a problem with snow.
