I just bought a 1993 Maxima GXE with leather seats. It is a used car and the seats are a bit dirty and could use some conditioning. I tried using several products I bought at the local supermarket to condition/clean the leather but I had no luck. Instead of paying for detailing could someone maybe recommend something to me.
Also, want to put some fog lights on my car and would like to know if anyone has any suggestions. I want to install them myself so I would need something that's not too difficult to install.
Another thing....I want to replace my current headlight bulbs with something that gives me white light...can someone maybe suggest something.

Thanks,
Roman

Leather: Try Lexol or Zaino cleaner/conditioner. they're not cheap, but are excellent products. I'd used the Lexol on another car and it made the 10 yr old leather on the back seats look even better than the new leather just installed on the front seats.

fogs: Nissan makes an add-on foglight kit for the GXE. call courtesy nissan parts for info on it (800-527-1909). it's fairly simple to install, provided you have a brain and wire strippers.

Headlight bulbs: can't really tell ya that one.. I know of many people that have PIAA and like them, but I've also heard they're not as bright as OEM replacements.
the "cheap" alternative are Sylvania Cool Blue bulbs. abou t$10 each. PIAA will run you close to $60 I think.

I wouldn't buy any factory foglights if I were you. I bought a pair of Blazer foglights from Wal-mart that are almost identical to the stock ones for about $35. They are suppossed to be for SUV's but they turned out nice. Instead of installing them like the stock ones I mounted them up inside of the bumper more so they dont look loke they just hang there like the stock ones. They look like they were there when I bought it but they werent. They definitely look a lot nicer than those silly round ones. They also dramatically improve your visibility at night.

(92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.)

info

i got PIAA SOlitaire's at $120 they are MUCH brighter then my PIAA Superwhite headlight Bulbs ($80 and not worth the money)...I had them professionally installed becausde I know I would mess it up, so i cant say how easy/hard it would be. It includes wiring and switch.
