timing can jump if the belts worn to crap....glad i have a chain....

correct. and if your timing is jumping, you may be on the verge of a belt breaking. and that can pretty much end it for you.

you had better wait. no point in doing the belt if the tensioner is bad.

YES THEY DID. I'm happy. Got it all together. It's never ran this good. EVER. Well for the 1.5 years I had it. Not any increase in power, just reallll smoooth idle, and acceleration.
