Spedometer and odometer aren't working please help!!

I'm new at this forum but I'm hoping you guys can help. My spedometer and odometer have quit on me but all the other gauges work. I don't know if it's electrical or what. And if there's any way it's a DIY project that be great but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
kg

check the fuses, the maybe the connection in the back is lose, just take out the guages and check those too, you might wanna troubleshoot a bit more before taking them out

check your speed sensor in the trans.
these have a tendency to be problematic. n
not very common but that's usually at the root of problems like yours

you can check the continuity at the harness to see if the harness to the ECU is fried. don't buy a speed sensor until you know it's defective since they are pricey.
