Got the new transmission in what next...

I just got my 90 maxima se auto back from the transmission shop. the guy charged me an extra 125.00 for the caseing, he says it was worn out from the inside could this happen. also the car hesitates it doesnt jump foward but it shakes quite a bit, I dont know if a tune up will do. when I put it in nuetral or park it doesnt hesitate as much but can get real anoying at a stop light when in drive. does any one know what this can be? Also the plastic parts that are under the emergency brake get really hot. is that normal when driving this kind of car. Im worried that its the transmission getting hot and the heat is rising. Also the key came out of the ignition while driving after a hard bump. any fix for this? please respond
thanx.

damn you have a lot of problems!

hmmm if the case of the tranny is messed up then some serious wear occurred. do you know which part was messed up? the drive gears have their own alum cover.

shakes...well do the tune up and go from there...if it is in tune then check your idle and etc.

heat under your ebrake...you have all your heat shields still there right?

key out of ignition...how worn is your key. it MIGHT need a new lock cyl if this annoys you.

heat under the ebrake has nothing to do with the transmission dont worry about that

hesitation could be an injector or 2 but id do the normal tunup first (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, clean TB ect) first and see if it goes away
