i want to buy a 1992 maxima but it has a head gasket issue. i figure i can buy it cheap and fix it. now i was wondering what kind of head gasket should i get, oem or aftermarket or performance?? or theres no real difference?? if you can help me, please let me know. tell me what i should get and where can i find it. please post or email me sstankyoo or you can AIM at sstankyoo thanks for looking and helping.

Or good quality after-market (parts store) gasket. We dont know what your plans are for this engine but the OEM/after-market gaskets are decent enough. No need for performance gaskets (if they're available)

Hopefully the head gasket issue isn't also a cylender head issue...then you're in for it.
