Customizing a subwoofer box

Has anyone ever tried to customize a sub box??

There is a spot where the trunk kinda curves back to the seats, and i thought about putting a board across that and mount the subs in it, would that work?? if anyone has done please help me in figuring out how to do this.

i have done a custom subwoofer box in my trunk, im trying to give u pictures, i will try back at a later time, i did not make a pice of mdf across where the curve is but i wrapped it around the curve
