resetting electrical problem

The other night after taking a sharp right hand turn, my air bag light came on. It has stayed on since then. Ever since then, my clock does not turn on and my radio / digital temp settings get reset every time the car gets turned off. It seems like the continuous power line (the one powered when the car is turned off) does not work or something. I have checked the fuses under the steering column and they seem fine. Any ideas? Is there a fuse box under the hood that I'm not able to find. I have only seen the one under the coolant reservoir which contains relays. Any info would be greatly aprreciated, thanks.

you need the owners manual and look for a bad fusible link

I found the ENGINE CONTROL fuse to be the problem. It is blown but if I try and replace it it just blows again immediately. Something is shorting out. Anyone have any clue as to what it might be?
