What the hell is wrong with my 90 GXE!!!??

had the starter replaced in my car yesterday. when i got it back it started havin all kinds of weird electrical problems. the car starts fine, when i cut it off everything goes off (lights, everything). thats with the key in the first position. (radio should be on). when i turn the key back to acc, stuff comes back on like i just reconnected the battery.
just now i started it, it came on, but no gauges or lights were functioning, car was runnin.. i pressed the brake and everything just popped on. I have never seen this happen to my or any other for that matter. note : i did try to start the car repeatedly b4 i realized that the prob was the starter. so might i have damaged somethin with my constant turning or the key? Any ideas please let me know. Thanks

Same crap happend to mine, xept everything was dead, no tach no lights, no guages, no nothing. What it turned out to be was under the dash near the fuse's there are 3 blue relays, one of them went out. Just replace all three and you should be good to go.

i'll agree...
replace your ignition related relays and your fuses.
these type of problems are somtimes quite hard to pinpoint. it's usually easiest to just start replacing things.
