Is it my window regulator?
my rear passenger window wont go up. took the regualtor out and the wire i guess that adjusts the window up and down was tangled up. i dont know if i can try to set the wire back up by hand or should i just go buy another regulator?

you could try to re-wind the wire onto the spool, but it's probably bent and usually there is a reason that it came off (some plastic clips break)
new ones are supposed to be more reliable. Check out www.internetautomart.com for parts and check my website for instructions on how to replace it (although sounds like you wont need those)

The regulator is the whole set up minus the motor, which has a few screws holding it in. The whole process is detailed very well on Craig's site.
I bought one regulator (driver door) with a new motor, since the old one was worn out. My LR I had to keep the original motor.

No clue why it's more money, but it costs me more.
