well they didnt fit my lug pattern so i had to order some 1" billet adapters. they fit and they dont stick out to much, i think the 1 inch adapters actually make them look better how they stick out a little. tell me what you think. I know i probably need to lower it a little.

damn, those tires are tiny, whats the treadwear on those? Looks good, but what made you pick 19's over 18s or 17s? I like em, although im not sure how much you can lower the car without hittin them tires

they are p7000s by perrelli 215/35/19s. the treadwear is like 320. i had 18s before and tried to fit 20s on the car but i had 255/35/20 tires before on rwd 8.5 inch rims so they did not fit. i sold me 18s and picked up this 19s with brand new tires for the same price, so i bought them so i would have brand new tires, and rims that almost look like dubs. i probably wont lower it just cause the car has a lot of miles on it and i dont feel like messing with it

looks nice. i thought that your car would be totally jacked up but it doesn't really look that high.
however i would suggest that you eventually lower the car. it will look a lot nicer.

All you need now is to get some disk brakes in the rear and get a Big brake kit. How else can you slow down the weight of those 19's?

I think its really nice. Its always good to have someone that nobody else has and be "different"
Do they rub? Also whered u get the clear corners, and how much?
PS. no need to lower...

If ya wanna lower it go with the eibach's. Much more than a 1.5 inch drop could spell disaster. You might even consider just eibachs up front. Since, that's the most noticable of the gaps.

Regardless, it doesn't look too shabby. I have different tastes personally but it came out nice.

well thanks for the fead back. i do understand the people who like smaller rims on the maximas they do look good. i was thinking of getting some 17s but i just ran across these rims at a good price. actually my 18s used to rub in sharp turns, but with the 19s and 1 inch spacers i can turn the wheel all the way with no rub. altho the tires are 215 not very wide and curve in a lot off the 7.5 inch rim. they still do a good job of gripping the road. i like the small tire look, i was thinking about lowering it later on, i know they will tuck a little, i just dont know if i should spend more money on things i cant take of this car.

I concur with Matt.

When my wheels go on I am going to be sporting some 4x4 gap (can't afford the struts and springs right now) so I understand how that goes, but those wheels are a little too much for me. They totally remind me of these:

In case you were wondering what they are, they are the wheels found on Hot Wheels cars...

As long as you like them, it's cool, though.

Since this is a public forum and free to personal opinions (you posted) I will say...You have bastardized the 3rd gen, nothing more than a 18" should be on a 3rd gen. You might as well went with some dubs.

Haha, with those things you're going to call attention to the rims, not the car. Lower that beast and you'll be better off...if you like it, that's cool...

But it looks like you might've gone a little over the deep end.

I like those 19"s with what wheels you chose, Focal wheels aren't expensive, so thats a good thing. My 18"s on my RSX-S slowed me down, but its worth it making it look 10x better than the dinky 16"s it came with.

welp, you know what i think about overly-large dub-like wheels on cars. for ugly wheels, they are actually not bad. they sort of remotely remind me of the porsche phone-dial rims they put on the 928 and 924.

but, well, mmm.... i'm not gonna say any more.

i dont think those rims look bad. its not the perfect rim for the 3rd gen, but it still looks good. go ahead and give it the drop. it will help out a lot. i had my 18s on my old max with no suspension. when i did the suspension later, it looked so much better.

but it still looks good though

I will not say anything negative since it looks like you have gotten plenty of that.

I will just say that if you like them and are happy with how it looks (even without lowering it) then that is all that matters.

it is the partisan politics of bling show wheels v. race car. most enthusiasts are one or the other:

this car is headed for the reclined-seat-slow-drive-by-to-look-at-me thing. and the subsonic-feel-the-bass-in-your-chest ICE box. there will be a gigantic kicker box woofer thing in the trunk soon. and it will be heard, felt, for six miles.

i will stop now because i can become even more negative.

a good drop fixes everyone's negativity BS. i think the car looks very clean, just drop it to conpensate for the bigger wheel gap
