5spd Swap Update

Hey,

What's up all. This is an addition to my last post here if you don't want to read through all the BS.

Anways, the swap worked out fine. No parts car needed. My wiring was right all along. My hitch was a bad NS/R position switch and a blown fuse. After that I just had to shave my fabricated adapter plate for the clutch pedal. That's if you can classify 3/4" pvc and flat washers as fabrication. This allowed me to get the right amount of play on the master cylinder rod.

Now, after a good amount of driving i found out i have a seal leak. Gear oil is leaking from the striking rod boot (I think). So the car is sitting til I get replacement seals from nissan (arrive on monday). I ordered 'em all, which i should have replaced originally. Oh well, thats what i get for takin a short cut.

BTW, my cruise control cancel switch and and clutch interlock switch work fine. As for the P/N switch, I bypassed that til i get my new switch. Also, I'll have working reverse lights as soon as i get that switch in.

Thanks for everyones help on this.

Lata,

Matt Fugina (Fugi)

PS... sorry, no pics cause i don't have a digi. I'll borrow my friends when i work out all the bugs.
