window whistles

When I drive fast inough, drivers window whistles.
I noticed that is becouse of the power window is not closed inough. When I push the button to close it, it stops to whistle, but when when I release it, the window drops a little, and the whistle comes back.
I managed to put something in between the window and the door frame before I release the button, but it is not a soliution.
So, somebody knows,
how to fix this problem?

Probly going to have to crack the door open at some point it you want a perminate solution. I had 3 windows fail and the fourth needed assistance on the way up. Design flaw, ask around.

It's probably your window regulator. If it isn't going out, it might be loose. Open the door panel and see if any of the bolts are loosened on the regulator. There is room for play (fine tuning the exact location) in the way they are mounted. If the bolts are loose, it won't line up correctly.

While you are in there, look to see if any of the plastic pulleys are coming apart or cracked. If they are, go ahead and talk to Internetautomart about a new regulator.

Good call, Nismobaron. This is just an FYI for all of you out there: I am the best speller in the world. You can easily match me word for word if you so choose. How do I know this? Because I have a dictionary sitting right here at my desk. If you would be so kind to do the same, we wouldn't have so many bad spellers.

Or, if you can't afford a dictionary, you obviously have internet access, so try www.m-w.com

Yes, I am. However, before that I was a reporter for a newspaper. I also studied journalism in college.

Even if you haven't graduated from high school yet, you will not spell any words wrong by using a dictionary.
