This Saturday I am going to be purchasing a RED 1993 SE it has black leather, ABS, fully loaded. I plan on autoxing the car in STREET TOURING so I plan on putting the following:
5 spoke 16 inch 2K rims, Eibach springs, Tokico Shocks, Sway bars, JWT ECU, POP Charger, Y-pipe, 2K Muffler, under drive pulleys, Stillen Front bumper, painting the lower black trim to the red body color. What do you all think ????

I hope you're not planning those mods just to autocross. Owning a 93 SE 5 speed, I know that they're a blast to drive/autocross, but they're not competative by any stretch of the imagination in G stock or Street Touring.

Make the mods only if it's for the pure joy of driving the car and not solely for autocross prep.

If your focus is mainly autocross:
1. Get the adjustable Tokikos
2. Stick with a 15 inch wheel. It'll provide less unsprung weigh, and a lower gear ratio for acceleration than the 16's with the same profile tires.

I'm envious of your planned mods. Sounds like your gonna have a sweet ride.

Yeah I know the car is not realy competitve in autox, but I just plan on having fun with the car. In all my cars that I have had I have always done the suspension just to make them handle better. It's kind of fun though when you autox and you beat some of the higher HP cars like mustangs, cameros with a family car like the Maxima because the drivers of the other cars do not know how to drive.

just an FYI...tokico doesn't make adjustables for us...if you want adjustables...Koni is the way to go...

they're not that uncommon around here..

of the 6 maximas I've looked at today, 2 of them were red SEs.
(2 were white, 2 were oatmeal)

They are pretty common around here also. I can think of three right off hand. I would like to see some pics of your car if you paint the lower trim body color.
