Plug wires

I thought that I rembered seeing something about the ve not having spark plug wires. That just kind of threw up a red flag because I know that it is not a diesle (don't make fun of people that can't spell). So if this is true maybe one of the gurus here could explain it to me, if not call me retarded and flame me.

Also I am moving to Columbus, Ohio in a week(going to The Ohio State University) and was wondering if there were any third geners in the area

They don't have wires in the conventional sense.
They use what is called a Coil on Plug system.
Every Individual cylinder has a coil with a boot attached to it that goes to it's respective plug hence eliminating the need for a distributor/cap/rotor/wires.
