Will the 5 spd tranny form a pre 88 max fit on a 91??? Does anyone know the Nissan p/n for the 89-91 5spd tranny??? thanks

yes it will work i put one from a 87 in to my friends 91 for the swap

the only things that are different are

speed sensor

tranny mounts

no fill plug on the front of the tranny so you have to fill the tranny through the speed sensor

and the gear ratio may be different because his speedo was off alittle

 

i believe it's RS5F50A

 

how different were the mounts? How much work was involved to make it fit?? Thanks.
