My Nismo...er I mean Otto bar...
Just ignore the white dots on the intake. They will not be there when I am finished LOL.

i got a courtesy nissan bar.. the one on e-bay looks like it's 2cm thick.. omg
anyway, my courtesy nissan bar has the OEM feel that goes well with my almost totally stock looking engine bay..
the quality of the bar feels solid and it has been working well. but the mounts are kinda bad quality. (a few holes were a little displaced from the bolt pattern) I had to use a hammer to lightly knock it into the bolts. but what can i expect, the box says it's made in Taiwan. besides that, everything worked out great..

I got a generic one for the 00-03
I have a VE so can't use the one you posted.
it's aluminum and has the straight brackets, my only complaint / problem was that I had to remove one of the jam nuts to make it fit.
cost me $25 shipped
they do screw you on shipping a bit as the entire thing only weighs 3 lbs.

Since my maxima is just my toy (my primary driver is a Chrysler Town & Country which is much more practical for a middle-aged single dad with two kids), I can't afford to spend the grocery and mortgage money on top shelf aftermarket parts.
For what it is, the eBay FSTB is a great help to the handling, and bolted on in about 5 minutes with no drilling, pounding, adjusting, etc. If you're going to be driving the Paris to Dakar Rally, by all means go out and buy the expensive billet aluminum parts if you can afford them.
Fourteen-year-old Maxima: $1200
H-Rated Radials: $320
New plugs, wires: $100
eBay FSTB: $9
Absolutely creaming some kid in a riced-out Civic in the stop-light derby:
PRICELESS

By all means if you have a pre 92 then the cheaper ebay bar will work just fine. I had a cheap bar on mine as a matter of fact. I had to move the air conditioner line and I didnt like that so I got the Otto bar and moved the bracket back. I could tell no difference in performance between the cheaper bar or the Otto bar though its just that the Otto bar fit perfectly without any adjustments needed to other parts of the car.

Nope it is solid aluminum instead of hollow aluminum like the other bars.
a solid SS bar would be much heavier than the Otto bar is that is for sure.

The eBay FSTB is polished aluminum, with black steel brackets.

Mike. How are you going to get those white spots off the manifold? Are you gonna try to polish it?

Jeff I have been looking for the picture where I partly polished my spare 5spd manifold but cant find it. I have left it outside so it is a little tarnished now or I would get a new pic.
Anyway I will either be polishing it or powder coating it...I havent decided yet.
