bead blasting a cai

ok i was discussing the CAI i'm going to build with a guy at work and he said that i should beadblast the inside of it to eliminate the laminar airflow. He said that the reason was that if the air was turbulent as it entered the cylinder the fuel would mix better with the air. has anyone done this or heard of this( he has his degree in Mechanical engineering so i don't think it is bs)?

thanks
josh

he has a point, but that's the only the case on a wetflow intake setup.
the maxima has a dry flow intake.
In other words the gas and the air don't meet until the cylinder, so any work for turbulence is pointless on a maxima
