Weird electrical ghosts
My max has some weird problems that appear then disappear (loose connections, maybe?):
Power door locks will stop working for a bit... I hear the relay, but the power locks won't work, using any method (keypad, buttons, pushing the lock down)
Climate control LCD is dim, then sometimes it'll be bright, then dim again...
This really has me stumped, considering no store in my area has a service manual so I can check the circuitry... Any ideas?

cold solder joints
open up the door lock timer and resolder it (grey box to the right of your steering column). Follow the relay clicking to find it.
resolder the climate control unit
common problem with clocks in this car too
