when i start my car it makes a pretty loud rattling sound, and then it stops. But it gets loud again anytime i push the accelerater. I am not sure if this is anything that has to do with the vtc problem, or not. Does anyone have any ideas?

 

Could be lifters, kinda sounds like a cross between a cricket and whistle type thing?

 

not really, just like something's rattling around

 

sound like a manifold bolt rattling around as you push more exhaust through(when you push the gas)............?
