Suspension Techniques or Spring Tech? I believe they are two different brands. My Suspension Techniques were great.

My buddy just dropped the front of mine 2" by heating up the springs somehow. It went from 4" gap to 2" gap in about 20 mins. Im still not sure exactly what he did though. Anyway it feels very nice, I can tell how much lower the car's center of gravity is when I drive. By the way, I have the kyb's who dont recommend anything over 1.5" drop or warranty is voided. There is a drawback though. On heavy bumps I can hear the springs or whatever kinda clunk or something. My man said I need to put rubber between the spring and something. He's gonna do it tomorrow. Other than that the ride is about 65% improved, I would prolly say 100 when I do the back. The cost for a 2" drop?? $20. Front of car hugging road...Priceless! Oh Snap... My first post *****!!!sorry

You're really weakening the springs by doing that. I hope they dont break on you.

which springs are better in terms of quality and handling, Intrax or Eibach pro-kit. I know the Intrax lower the maximas a little bit more. I have the Pro-Kits already on my Max and I was wondering if it'd be worth it swap them for the Intrax. Also, would the difference in lowering from Eibach to Intrax be noticeable?

I like the Eibach's, they have a nice conservative lower. Since I converted over to 5-lug using 3rd gen suspension, I've been using 3rd gen Eibachs. Only complaint I have is when the that first stage of the spring compresses, the spring gets really stiff...nice for cornering....not so nice on bump roads sometimes. The lowering is nice too....as you can see in my sig.
As for the Eibach versus Intrax...from a 2nd gen standpoint...the Intrax springs tend to be a bit harsher because of the more aggressive lower...and I don't believe they are progessive like the Eibachs are.

thanks, but if you have a 2nd generation maxima, why are you in this forum? You should be in the 2nd generation forum. I need someone who has a maxima from my generation to answer my question. Thanks anyway though

Yes you can notice a difference in ride height. i went from eibach to intrax just for the drop.
I cant really comment on the ride difference since I put new struts on at the same time and only have about 10 miles on my intrax (that I put on well over a year ago).
Go to my site for pics of before and after. Some of the early pics are before (pics of my wheels when I first put them on) and I have a menu with a link to my intrax springs.
I prefer Intrax just for the look but supposedly they still handle well. Handling was not my concern though because if it were I would have stayed with Eibach.

Did you read his post? He converted his old 2ng gen to use a 5-lug 3rd gen suspension, meaning he can use the same springs/struts as we do.

Second...who are you to say where I can and can not post? Just because I have a 2nd gen doesn't mean my knowledge or experience only applies to 2nd gens. In fact, I've worked on every generation except a 6th gen maxima. I've done suspensions in 2nd-5th gen maxima's....and I have several people here, including one of the moderators of the 3rd gen forums that can vouch for my experience and knowledge. Also, if I didn't know, or have experience in something....I would certainly not answer the question. So please don't assume that just because I have a 2nd gen. I don't make assumptions about you....other than the above assumption.
Thank you.

How about a bit of respect here? I post all over and I have a 3-gen. If he knows, he knows. In fact he probably knows more a bout 3-gens and 4-gens than you will ever know.
