Hey guys and gals,
I have a new to me 91 Maxima that I'm trying to get the keyless entry to work. I tried putting in the factory 7 digit code off of the keyless entry module, It just gives one beep and nothing more. I changed out the module with my 1990 (died of trans trouble) and it does the same thing. The 91 module did work back in the 90! Is there any other components in this system that I could swap out? Also after it gives the single beep I have to take off the battery cable to get it to just beep once more. Any comments would be appreciated!!

 

man dont u got an owners manual?o.k. hit start\clear ....type in the fixed code ...and during the long beep type in your made up code(4-8 digits i think?

Yes Man, I have an owners manual and No it does not work doing it that way. But thanks for all the info!
