clunk clunk from front passenger side..

When I'm driving my car at any speed over about 15mph....I hear a clunk clunk sort of knocking sound when i go over even small bumbs...I think its either worn strut frnt passngr, cv or ball joint(ive seen a post on this and couldn't find it again any help pls?) or my door some how....about 6 months ago I did replace the cv boot because it was ripped(for how long i don't know, fixed it as soon as i noticed)....never noticed it then...just started to notice about a month or so ago, but i listen to radio alot so could of been going on for longer...If anyone would be able to help me out on how I could check what it is...I got a bad feeling its the ball joint or whatever I read in that one post I cant find...maybe the lower control arm or whatever its called...I need help pls....

strut mount, ball joint, tie rod end, there's no telling what's wrong with it over the internet. jack your car up and take a look. If you can't figure it out, take it to sears. they do free estimates- or at least used to.

gonna jack up the old chasis tomorrow hopefully if i have time before work....im hoping that back when i had to replace my cv boot there was no dirt hidden in there....also if it is the cv joint...wouldn't that only happenin during turning and such? thanks again

I doubt it's the CV. that's why I didn't mention it.

Just like I thought...last thing I checked tho....I jacked it up, hit ****, poked stuff....seemed fine...then I lowered here down and start to shake the whole car from side to side....i hear the clunk clunk....it sounds as if the shock is lose...the bolt on the shock in the engine bay...in the middle of the bracket on the strut bar....was lose...gae it 2 good turns and made it nice and tight...rocked car back and forth....and its gone...Thanks for the help guys, I know Im an idiot worried about stupid problems lol
