Weird Clunk Noise when shift is released
my tranny was just rebuilt, and Im getting this loud car shaking clunk when I shift from park to R or D. I dont get when shifting from R to D. could this be a really bad tranny mount? Its a horrific sound and makes the car jump. Any one else had this problem

what you can do to check is...raise your hood, get in the car, start it....hold the brake down while car is in drive and give it a quick LITTLE gas(holding the brake)...if you can see the engine move more than 1/2"....also do this for reverse....then you got a bad mount somewhere
