How can the engine get to 4000 RPM if the throttle is nearly closed??

You accelerate to 4000RPMs, then take your foot off the gas, then gently put it on the gas so the TB is barely cracked. You can modulate the gas pedal so you maintain a high RPM while not boosting. I used it when I was playing around, passing my friend while he drove my car.

boost is just positive manifold pressure created by a supercharger or turbocharger.

Boost is the crack cocaine of the automotive world.

I get a good healthy 10psi dose in the supra... hehe

Just gotta watch out for rod bearings and head gaskets, uhh not that I know anything about those...

Good luck selling the car though, I woulda bought it had it been for sale back in may.

Just took a trip to Kansas CIty yesterday. Did a little over 220 miles before I filled back up. Mostly highway driving with a little bit of stop and go due to stupid road work. I boost a lot too and still manage 23.5 mpg. Now that I have a Romulator to tune the ecu itself instead of tricking I know I can get even better gas mileage.

Just thought I'd let you all know.
