Vibration at low rpm
Vibration at low rpm
My 1994 Maxima SE (120,000 miles) will vibrate at low RPM's right at the start. When I pull away from a stop sign, I can sense a vibration for about 1.5 seconds. If I coast at about 20MPH and lightly touch the gas, I can get the vibration to occur again, but it goes away as soon as the RPM's increase.
Any ideas? A mechanic said it was the wheel bearings? I am wondering if I should focus on the transmission, motor mounts, etc.
Any ideas?
This is my second Maxima and I would like to keep it going. I just spent $400 for a new spoiler and repaint of the rear bumper.

do you here anything when it vibrates
does it vibrate at all when your not moving
is this and auto or stick
if its wheel bearings youd hear a grinding noise
if it vibrate when stop and idleing it could be a sead fuel injector
