E36 light question

E36 light question

Quick question, do I need the bmw mounting bracket to mount the lights to the maxi?

check out www.geocities.com/bmwconversion and there is another link in the FAQs somewhere (or in the links section of my page)

it's a custom job though so you have lots of options when doing it

I had the cover idea first and then you stole it

yeah, Michael and I did ours the same way - cutting off the BMW lense and using a clear maxima light cover (GTS style) and putting that on there. Mine aren't sealed completely because I'm lazy but it'd be better if you did that

Where do you get the clear Gts light cover from?

the ones I used are actually Wade brand, but most people know what GTS covers are so that's why I said that

I got them on some store I found on yahoo. Check google and yahoo and stuff. I got them for $40 shipped

You didnt tell ME about the covers...I dont know what you are talking about .

I had the idea of cutting the corner off though...it doesnt matter if that idea came after I broke the corner or not


You know it took me several emails to convince you to go ahead and do the BMWs and covers. You were afraid of them leaking since they were not sealed (thats what I meant by listening to me ).
