see the thing in the very top left hand corner, if it has that, then you have abs, if you dont have that, then you dont. also see if you have an abs idiot light, its in the top left of your gauges and is yellow.

go to a wide long quiet street on a rainy night where no one is around. accelerate hard till u hit 40mph and slam the breaks.. if the break pedal kicks back on ur foot then u have ABS.. if u feel/hear the wheels lock up and skid, release gently and re-apply pressure on the breaks.

it's actually real easy to make the ABS kick in on a max.. i make my max skid all the time, but i know how to handle it and i only do it on quiet nights when no one is around. always drive responsibly on public streets and highways!

of couse, there are much safer ways to find out if ur max has ABS.. just that mine doesn't have it so i don't know.. lmao...

hahahah! have fun skidding/drifting..

It does have ABS. Standard option on SE models, as well as a tighter suspension, thicker sway bars, fog lights, rear spoiler, white guages, black window trim, Bose stereo, the sportier steering wheel, even a twin muffler tip lol. and umm. is that it? I think thats it, i beleive the sunroof was and option even on the SE, and so was the leather i think. If theres anythin else im sure someone will be quick to correct me.

IIRC the abs is a $1000 option

In 92 ABS was an option and so was the airbag. I have neither on my car.

The other options are: AT, moonroof, leather and floor mats.

ez way to tell...

where's your coolant overflow tank. if passenger side then NO ABS.

if it's at the driver side (by the battery) then u have ABS.
