UK Corners

Hello everyone.. what is the difference between "UK Corners" and the ones you get from Ebay for like $10, or courtesy nissan for like $45????

What should I look for when getting clear corners for my 90 GXE. I want good quality stuff, and may be thinking of smoking them out in the future.. (like craigs)

thanks everyone in advance..

also whats the most "economical" speed to drive on the freeway to save gas..I heard someone say 2500-3000 rpm?? Thats like 75-80 mph!!!!!!!

I have UK corners from a friend in England. They come stock smoked like that. They're very expensive and hard to get though. Talk to awsm66, he does a great job tinting clear corners to make them look almost the same as real UK ones, not like the other tint spray s I've seen

Hey Craig, how much were they? My gurlfriend is overthere now & I want her to get me a pair. I really want them for my ride, would be the first 1 in New Zealand.

Well the problem is that they are hard to find over there. There are not that many 3rd gens. New they are around $150 US each (over $300 for both).

aminus21 here are some I tinted.

Like Michael said, they're something like $125-150. I think they were 80 UK pounds each when I last had my friend price them. And they are very rare cars over there so finding them used is near impossible. I knew someone from the US who was stationed over there and selling the maxima before he left so I traded some US clears for them.

Dan, those are the lights I want. So, if anybody can get me a pair of UK clears, I am willing to swap with mine. I asked my girlfriend to get me a pair, but if they are hard to get over there, then I will settle for sum from Awsm.

UK corners are pimp, but hard as hell to get.

You are better off getting awsms smoked corners, they match pretty well.

For some reason the clear corners on ebay look like they have some kind of clear mesh on the end part of it (the part that is usually orange)...??? same with the courtesy nissan ones..
but the one in dannys picture is completely clear, no mesh clear cloth....

I will trade my stock corners for UK's or nice clears, no ebay stuff.

aminus - I doubt anyone will trade UK corners for your stock corners or clears. The UK ones are the ones that people are trying to get a hold of and are a lot more rare and expensive

kcidmil - those are regular clear corners. The UK ones are smoked and match the E36 lights a lot better IMO

I know, but he said he would settle for regular clears, not the supposed "fake" looking ones from ebay.

That is not mesh. It is a reflector. Its just like the factory reflectors but clear instead of amber.

The UK corners dont have that because they dont have the same standards as the US and had a reflector/repeater on the fender.

Also all clears are pretty much the same. None of them are OEM quality. The ebay ones are just as good as any other ones you buy.

For those interested in me tinting them I charge $40 including shipping back to you. I use actual automotive clear coat with a color mixed in to give it the color. It will not fade or yellow like the spray tint stuff.

I have to see about having you do a new pair this tax return. My current clear corners are coming apart. And my right side has started to crack.

You don't already have a pair that I could just buy?
