Redline MT-90 seems to be the norm

i'm very biased towards amsoil series 2000. around here we call it smurf juice because it's BLUE....yay! rice fluids. lol
anyways,
i've heard of mt-90 causing issues with the 4th gen manual trannies. i don't know exactly why but this is what i've heard.

i don't know if mt-90 is better than series 2000 but i've felt the difference between conventional gear oil and the series 2000.... OMFG the series 2000 feels incredible!!!

i'll be using amsoil series 2000 once my 5-spd swap is done. it also helps that i'll be getting dealer pricing on it too because it ain't cheap.

Except you didn't mention if you had an AT or manual, but I have been very happy wth the AMSoil. It's not cheap, however.

my mistake on the redline mt-90 issue. it wasn't that oil which caused problems, it was the motul gear oil.
