Gathering interest in a VE UDP group deal....

How many would be interested in a group deal for the ASP UDPs? I'm just seeing how many people HAVE money and would want to. I'd like to get a number before I even approach them about it

I am down. I got the money right now. Will this include belts and all or just the pulleys?

Just like last time it will probably just be the Pulley

Um this look like the for sale section?

If you run an ASP pulley deal, I suggest you have them steel sleeved from the get go.

Would you like for me to move it? It's no big deal, just thought I could get more interest here.

The plan if I can get enough people is to buy just directly from ASP and have them go ahead and put the sleeves on. It'll be a little bit more than buying from RPMoutlet, but you wont have to worry about leaks, so I have no problem paying 5-10 bucks more.

Just the pulley. Like I said, I'm just getting the interest right now before I contact them. I think there is more "bargaining" power if you say, I've got 10 people with money right now, as opposed to I "think" I can get together 10 people

If you want, you could just have it shipped with mine, then just come down and pick it up, I'm in Issaquah It would actually probably be quite abit cheaper. Just food for thought, we still need to get 10.

edit: nevermind, this is for the 92-94 SE (VE)
You can call Unorthadox Racing and order a blehmished unit, they are roughly the same price. It just means there is a scratch on the finish or something like that.

With the sleeve already installed, I would imagine we could get a price of 110 shipped or around there.

It would be like buying directly from them and them shipping it to you, just with a slightly discounted rate since we would have around 10 buyers at one time.

If you beatches want the belts too, factor in the price, and I'll deliver the belts to ASP Racing before the pullies are shipped out.. they're only about 20 min away.

They're already cheap as they are. You can get them for $100, which is almost half the price of the VG pulley.

That does not include the metal collar. If we bought that then we would have to ship it to ASP to have them install the collar then ship it back.

Matt, nice offer, I'd take you up on it if I didn't already have the belts

Just to let you guys now, they are on backorder from summit until the 25th, RPMoutlet says that they will be available in a week (i've been told one week = months for those people) and ASP told me 2-3. I would hope with that 10 people, they would get off the rumps and get to making.

I'll be contacting them either on Monday or Tuesday, so thats about 2-3 more days to get a couple more people. This is assuming we have enough people at the time though.

Paul.. if they don't want to do the shipping and stuff from there, gather all the funds up, send it to me, and I'll personally pick them up at the shop and pay for them, then ship them out from here. if I walk in with a check for 10 of them and all they have to do is hand them to me in a box, they'll probably be more willing to do it quickly.

depends on the brands you want, but they usually run $10-$20 each for the belts, and you need three... so plan around $50 or so on the belts.

damn, i hate to back out now, but I don't have enough money. This took too long to gather the people, and an opportunity came about to get a sub set-up. Good luck finding all the people, maybe if it takes long enough, I'll gather the money again. but for now, I'm gonna have to be counted out, sorry
