help, ecu code 1,2,3,4,5

Hi,

I checked my ecu. It flashed the following:

Long
short, short
3 (rapid blinks)
4 (rapid blinks)
5 (rapid blinks)
...repeat

It looks like 1,2,3,4,5 combination. I can't decipher the code. Can you please help me? Thanks.

I did. Many times.

However, I can't figure what code number I have. Do I have code 12 34? I checked, and there's no such code.

Can someone just let's me know what code I have from the flashes I saw? Do I have multiple codes?

Thanks in advance.

are you sure the 3 blinks after the 2 blinks were rapid, and not long? If it went 1 long 2 short 3 long 4 short or something id say you have multiple codes... but if its as you say somethings probably wrong with how youre doing it. id say double check the code pulling procedure, check the codes again, and post back

hahahahahahah! I don't think you're in the code-throwing mode, you're just going back in forth between modes 1,2,3,4,5...I did this first and was like what code is this haha

to get the code:

while the car running, turn the ecu dial fully clockwise. your red & green led will flash 2times. then turn the dial fully counter clockwise. your ecu is in diagnostic mode now. count how many times the red led blinks, then count the times the green led blinks. that is your code.

ex:

red blinks 3x
green blinks 2x

that means code 32.

in the sticky, there is a list of code meanings. refer there.
now to reset back your ecu. turn the dial again fully clockwise, wait till it blinks 4x, then turn it fully counter clockwise..your done.

hope this helps you out.

Thanks everyone.

Finally figured it out. Didn't know I had to have the car running. Anyways, I was able to extract code 55 (5 reds & 5 greens). Looking up the code, it means that "Normal engine management system operation is indicated." Cool!

Thanks again.
