Well, after over a month of saving, i fainnly save up enough money to put tires on the Murano Wheel i got off ebay. For the whole package, i am out ~$900, $350 for the wheel, and $550 for the Falken 115 225/40/18 tires.
Let me tell you, the ride is 110% better compare to stock 205/65/15 tire (that needed rebalance), noise is low, ride is smooth. But i will go with either 235 or even 245 for my second set of tires. The 225 actually looks to narrow for the wheel.

Also, the new wheel/tire weight is exactly 10lbs more than the old wheel/tire. you can feel it from a dead stop. But nothing can't be fixed by more mods, like UDP, lighted flywheel and stuffs like that, right?
Also, more pics on my cardomain page.

damn you!!! hahah, when i joined maxima.org i was askin if the fitment and everythin on these wheels would fit, i didnt really wanna risk it tho considering how wide the wheel was. that looks badass though, i just love the spreading 5 spoke thing. hows your turning radius now anyway??

I like them. The car looks clean and even though I like larger wheels with a drop it looks OK like it is until you can drop (assuming you want to drop).

NOOOOO!!!!!

Why the F*** did you buy the ST-115?!?! Those have got to be the WORST tires out there!! They're drifter/ricer tires. aggressive looks and cheap price. horrible tread wear, and overheat and chunk if you drive them hard.

CAr looks REAL nice man. Do the tires rub at all on turns???? And if you lower with prokit (1.2") will they rub... I think that car looks really nice. Just perfect.. Muranos also come with 17s right??? Do they look the same??

I KNOW. I didn't read your comment on that tire until the day i actually pick them up at the shop. I was too late. Since i don't do any racing stuff, hopefully they will last a bit longer.

Just keep an alignment on the car and don't drive like me and you'll be better off. I got a whole 8000 or 9000 miles out of that set of tires. yuck.

the wheels look good on the car tho!

i like the wheels, but you need to lower your car man if you're gonna be cruising with big rims. Just looks bad if you're on stock height. Get the Eibach pro-kit and some Tokico struts, and you'll be straight. Keep up the good work.

they look really nice for a stock type of wheel, especially for the price you paid. I think there some non-Nissan (aftermarket) rims I like better, but you couldn't even look at them for $350, so I say, "good job."

10lbs? I'm not expert on rims and stuff, but does 10lbs make such a small effect on drivng that mods can counter it?

I like the look... brings a little bit of new age to the good 'ol 3Gen.

BTW, got any pix straight from the back? I wanna see how the tires fill up the wheel well. hmm, maybe I should check your cardomain site? I'm ON IT!!!

yeah falkens do suck @$$ i have a set of them on my maxima which has 17's and they are like a year old and about worn out. my turck also has a set of them which are 20 inch but they seem to be holdin up better then the 17 inch tires maybe it has to do with sizes?? i dunno but i would never go with falkens again.

HOT!!! Your ’93 with the 18” Murano wheels is definitely hitting. Unlike most in the forum, I like your car the way it sits now: with stock springs. Heck, with that setup, I may opt for 18” wheels instead of 17”s since I want to keep my stock springs. Looks really, really nice.

that looks tight. i have seen some places on ebay that will dip them in chrome too, but i'm guessing its not that good of a job. you pay 550 for the chrome and a 600 deposit and they pay for you to send in you old rims "murano" and you get back the 600 when they get ur old rims. or you could just pay 1200 for the package without finding the murano rims first but that seems steep.

That gives me an idea, hmmm. If only I could find murano wheels for that cheap though.
