hey whats up. i just found out i can make anything i want out of carbon fibre here at school. my buddy is working on a race car there and is making the intire body out of carbon fibre. any ideas on what i can make. i was thinking of a hood, but he said that would cost a fortune. the hoods they sell for hondas n that must be fiber glass with carbon sheet over it. thats the only way they could sell them so cheap. anyways, what do you guys think i can make?

I think a cool project to make would be a gauge surround out of CF. It would look pretty nice with the CF dash kits. The reason that they don't really make real 100% carbon fiber hoods is because the techniques(vacuum bagging, heating in a kiln, etc) are a lot of money. Companies such as Benen Industries are making some good 100% carbon/kevlar stuff though...

If you could make some nice dash inserts I would buy one, as would many others I think. there are dozens of possiblilitys. Oh I know! How about inserts for the area in between the front and rear windows. I have seen them on a 4th gen and they looked great. Other than that, an intake tube would be nice too. Have fun!
