Where is the PCV valve?

Hi all

Where do I find the PCV valve on my 1992 SE? Not sure when I last replaced it, so its probably time. At what intervals should it be replaced? How would you know if it needed replacement?

Thanks for the help!

dont be surprised if the hose rips when you take it off, you might wanna order it in advance as a precaution

longpole: those hoses are for the Valve Cover vent tube (radiator side) and Idle Air Control (on the firewall side). The PCV is in on the back side of the head, at cylinder #1 (rear passenger side). I forgot the size socket you will need. Everyone always *****es about it but really the hardest part is just taking off the hose. As Magnifico said, just order the hose(s) in advance, heck they are 10-12 years old anyway, it just makes things easier.
