racing gears?

is it possible to find a place that would fab up some racing gears for the automatic? some kid in my school got racing gears in his 96 auto accord, and that thing is quick as a *****. I bet it would cost a lot, but does anybody have any idea?

can... yes... will? how much money do you want to spend on a weak transmission to begin with?

get a 5 spd and you'll have much better acceleration and the tranny is strong enough for 300+hp.

i'd take a whole new tranny personally but racing gears and more importantly bearings (for these trannies) would be best. ipt's bigger bearing replacement thing would probably be good enough for quite some time though.

i'd love to have some straight cut, dog engagement gears with a sequential shifter.
