testing parts

i have a problem with my 92' ve 5spd hesitating. i replaced the spark plugs and it seemed to get rid of most of the hesitation but once in awhile it will still hesitate. lots of people say different things are causing the problem: fuel injectors, o2 sensor, MAF, fuel filter, etc. some of those parts can get expensive to replace so i was wondering if there is ways i can test some of these parts to see if in fact thats the cause of the problem. any help is greatly appretiated.

p.s my car has 152kms and i didnt have the car for too long so i dont know what parts were already replaced.

Knock sensor is my first guess, you can put a resistor in there to see if it runs better than with the KS hooked up. If it runs fine with the resistor, then the KS is your problem.
