Couple weeks ago I race a 2000 civic si. He was a friend of mine so i told him i want to run against him. I said sure,
Well here what it happend. We were waiting at the red light , waiting for it to turn green. I rev to 5000 rpm. His was louder because he got INGEN intake and my was bone stock. 1st gear I was pulling on him, 2nd gear still head by 1/2 car length and third he start to pull in on me, I couldn't do anything because i have no Vtec like his. Well I lost by 1- 1 1/2 car length. It was a great race though. I know i should have won that race. I was telling him for another rematch because with my new CAI i should run alittle faster.

Gotta love the Torque.

I guess 3rd gear is the money gear for those Si's/GSR's. I can never find an Si to race. I came up on one the other day. It had a big wing on the back which was almost as high as the roof of his car. He also had exhaust done but he was driving slower than crap.

No one wants to race a 4dr car!

 

I saw a S/C'd '99 or so SI today. It sounded like a damn diesel truck, it must have been running big boost. All of a sudden I heard this LOUD *** exhaust, sounded like a fire truck or something, then I heard "psssst....pssst"(BOV) and there it speeds by!! I have to admit, the best part about it was no RICE, pretty sweet sleeper!! still wouldn't buy one, those new SI's are WAY played out!!!

 

I eat Sis for breakfast.... hehe (stock Sis that is) pull them big off the launch and they can never catch up, even if they hang with me after I am 4 carlengths ahead........

well if only my launch was better. How do you guys launch your max. I didn't have good launch.

 

i can barly beat lightly moddified si's. they usually give me a good race seeing how i am a vg
