Thats not true at all. I have had my auto worked on like 6 different times. The first time they just rebuilt it with a kit. Ussually they never replace them. After getting mine rebuilt it was back in the shop about 4 more times under waranty. It was a pain in the ***. I had my car in the shop for almost 6 months straight untill they decided to replace the actual tranny. Now everything seems to be fine. Most of the time they just add new clutch plates and rebuild kits. I'm sure you wont go through what I went through. The mechanics said that they have never seen a tranny come back so many times so often and not be able to trace the problem. All I can say is that if it gets fixed and you have more problems soon, definitely push them to getting you a new tranny, unless of course they are gonna charge you extra.Make sure who ever fixes it has a waranty.
