Will a transmission from a 4th or a 5th generation maxima be able to fit onto a 1992 Nissan Maxima. I just want to know cause my tranny went out and I need another one and need to know what my best option is. Please help with any suggestions.

NO. VQ engines use a completely different transmission. The 92-94 SE's have a different transmission than the GXE's, and the 89-91 SE's.
