I can see 4 square screw heads in there, but they only go about a quarter turn and snap back into place. Can't figure out how to take it off. I just removed, cleaned and painted my valve cover and changed my brake fluid, but now I'm getting my butt kicked by this stupid grille.
Please help! I know many of you have done gutter guard grilles before. Thanx

Go about it another way. Pop the hood (duh!?), I know! But, then look down behind the grille. The plastic pieces you are trying to "unscrew" are literally stuck through 5 brackets. Two on each side at the lights, and one in the middle. Where the pieces slide through, it is like an arrow, press the tips of the arrow together (top and bottom) and the plastic holders will slide out from the bracket. Start on either end at the light and work your way over to the other side. These plastic pieces are nothing more than clips holding the grille to the brackets.
