How much is that in $ US?

Is the price with tires? It seems pretty steep.

I think you can buy a wheel and tire package on wheelsnext.com for $900 US with Konig wheels.

Konig packages

It might be a little more with the bigger tires we need, but not by too much.

Poor Americans. Last time I visited Montreal it was $0.60US to one Canadian dollar (I think you have your currencies backwards).

Nope. You got bamboozled man. I have never in my life seen an USA/Canucka exchange rate that was more than 1:1 in Canada's favor. It's usually in the $1.2 - $1.3 USD / $1 Canadian dollar.

You need to put down the hash pipe. It does NOT cost more than one US dollar to purchase 1 Canadian dollar. When I went to Montreal in the summer of 2000, $1.00US bought me $1.6X Canadian (before commission of course). The inverse of that relationship is that one Canadian dollar will buy me ~$0.60US. Might want to thumb through your 6th grade math book again

Sorry to get off-topic.

Yeah guy don't bust your head paying $1,500 for some 17" rims. When you could step it up to 18" or even 19" if you shop hard enough.

It's priceless...

It won't be so funny when we get a couple of feet of snow and I have the studded tires on.

Sometimes wheels (and tires) are more expensive up here even factoring in exchange rate, but yeah, keep shopping around. There are some Canadian online tire stores, and probably more based out of Toronto.

Check out some local car forums too to see where people are finding the good deals for their tires and wheels. Usually they're online or some small or independant shop, not the big chain stores.
