Headlight out, not the bulb.

My passenger side headlight went out the other day. I went down to the parts house and got a couple new bulbs without even thinking about it. I put em in, but it still doesn't work. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but I haven't got a clue what to look for. The wiring (atleast the visisble portions) look fine, no bad fuses, I'm stumped.
Thanks,
Waffqle

Just went through the same problem, it's your headlight switch on the turn signal stalk, and it aint cheap @ 110 bucks. hopefully you can do it yourself because my bill came to 277 bucks with the labor. You have to remove the steering wheel to replace it. Good luck

Not sure by your description, and maybe this causes other problems, but something to check is the two fuse relays under the hood for the headlights. Swap them and see if the other headlight stops working correctly. Otherwise might be the steering wheel stalk headlight switch.

you might want to check the socket, and make sure the socket isn't worn out, because i use brighter bulbs but the sockets don't last to long, check that before you waste time/money

I replaced mine and I did not have to take off the steering wheel to change it.... just the plastic behind it,which is held on by screws in the underside of the 2 pieces. try the junkyard to see if you can get it cheaper if that turns out to be the part you need. My symptoms when my switch burned out was that the highbeams wouldn't switch on.
